ANAS EXPOSÉ #NUMBER12 VIDEO - THE FALLOUT, THE FIGHT AND THE NOISE: THE ‘ALLEGATORS’ HAVE SPAT ONTO THE EYE OF THE TIGER AND THE TIGER HAS ROARED BACK WITH VIM.

The ‘allegators’ have spat onto the Eye of the Tiger and the tiger has roared back with vim. And then the story begins. So the Anas Exposé #Number12 was premiered successfully and since aired amidst all the hullaballoo. Yes, you heard me right. Hullaballoo. Despite all the news of the several threats and attempts by different bigwig personalities seeking injunctions against Anas Aremeyaw Anas with regards to the airing/premiering of #Number12, nothing could stop it. It premiered, it showed, and it conquered. For some, Number 12 was always going to be the straw that broke the Camel’s back. Since its announcement, it has gathered far more attention than “Ghana in the eyes of God”. The show seem to have only just began. Anas’ vim and vigour is even building up and going higher and higher.  I do not know whether to call this whole revolution against Anas and the Tiger Eye PI team a drama, ‘documentary’ or simply concert party. Let us get into it. For emphasis, I like to star...

The Rise of Political Prophecies in Ghana – A Force for Good or Recipe for Disaster?

The Rise of Political Prophecies in Ghana – A Force for Good or Recipe for Disaster?  Election seasons in Ghana are fast becoming a time when there usually appears to be a sudden increase in what I call ‘political prophecies’. In general, although election seasons over the years have attracted a lot of these prophecies, their somewhat ever-increasing popularity and pompous audacity – at least over the last few general elections – seem to be deeply and firmly engraving them onto the political landscape at an unusually fast pace. We are in an era where they have attached themselves so firmly to our general elections to the extent that it is almost inconceivable to imagine a period anytime soon that they would die out of the political scene. Considering the fact that even more Christian ministers and so-called prophets seem to be using their platforms, authority and trust to advance diverse partisan political propaganda, it is useful to understand that most of these prophecies cou...

The Fight Against Jeremy Corbyn

The point we are missing is that the leader of the Labour Party is chosen by the membership of the Labour Party and not the PLP. Jeremy Corbyn won last year's leadership contest by almost 60% of the votes. As far as I am aware, that victory still stands and JC is still the leader of the Labour Party. The PLP started a coup and it has backfired on them big time. Jeremy Corbyn is on the ballot. The question now is who can beat him. His opponents are fighting for power without  a mandate. This is a coup. This is not democracy as it is portrayed. However much they say it is not about Jeremy Corbyn, the truth remains that their real intention was to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn. Considering the democrat and a principled person Jeremy is, he remained unbroken and unbowed and upright to the course of the Labour Party. They thought he would just walk but Jeremy would never turn his back on democracy. They call him a loser yet he has won every by-election with increased majority since he ...

Gateway to Africa

The structure of our democracy has seen yet another touch of geographical re - demarcation on the global map of peace. Irrespective of the closeness of the competition and tensions that clouded the electoral atmosphere, which spanned over some four weeks leaving Ghanaians on tenterhooks awaiting the declaration of the mandate to the next commander in chief of the laudable Ghana Armed Forces for the next four years, our credentials of propelling the shield of democracy on the wheels of tolerance was grounded another firm root as it all ended on the under the shed of peace. Of course, sixteen years on the roadmap of a democracy means a lot of trekking, searching, losing, finding and learning great lessons and the stakes are now too high to quit. Especially In a period when elections in Africa has been a reference points for disputes and fierce contentions, which in some places even leads to armed conflicts and claims the lives of innocent and valuable citizens including women...
