The Fight Against Jeremy Corbyn

The point we are missing is that the leader of the Labour Party is chosen by the membership of the Labour Party and not the PLP. Jeremy Corbyn won last year's leadership contest by almost 60% of the votes. As far as I am aware, that victory still stands and JC is still the leader of the Labour Party.
The PLP started a coup and it has backfired on them big time. Jeremy Corbyn is on the ballot. The question now is who can beat him. His opponents are fighting for power without a mandate. This is a coup. This is not democracy as it is portrayed. However much they say it is not about Jeremy Corbyn, the truth remains that their real intention was to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn. Considering the democrat and a principled person Jeremy is, he remained unbroken and unbowed and upright to the course of the Labour Party.
They thought he would just walk but Jeremy would never turn his back on democracy. They call him a loser yet he has won every by-election with increased majority since he took over leadership of the party. To bring this reality home, Jeremy won against their plot to dethrone him by keeping him off the ballot. He is simply not going anywhere anytime soon. It is an unnecessary challenge but they Jeremy is resolute and ready. For the opponents, I am afraid to say Jeremy Corbyn for PM will win the leadership contest. It is an undeniable fact that there is no just way of removing him as leader of the labour party and their wildest tactic has failed.
Without a mandate, they started and without a mandate will they end. The so-called challengers for the leadership are intended on breaking up the Labour Party but effectively destroying themselves by their own swords in the process. They are suddenly wondering why no one is listening to them any longer. They are screaming on the rooftops and the market squares. They are tooting on the streets but the membership of the labour party has ignored and rejected them with hundreds of thousands of new members joining to support Jeremy Corbyn. So the final trick in the book was deployed to keep the so-called poor people they claim to fight for out of the process. How could you sell democracy for just £25? It must be a complete joke or an act of utter frustration. Labour will stand, labour will win. ‪#‎LabourWillSurvive‬‪#‎JeremyWillWin‬

The Rise of Political Prophecies in Ghana – A Force for Good or Recipe for Disaster?

The Rise of Political Prophecies in Ghana – A Force for Good or Recipe for Disaster?  Election seasons in Ghana are fast becoming a time when there usually appears to be a sudden increase in what I call ‘political prophecies’. In general, although election seasons over the years have attracted a lot of these prophecies, their somewhat ever-increasing popularity and pompous audacity – at least over the last few general elections – seem to be deeply and firmly engraving them onto the political landscape at an unusually fast pace. We are in an era where they have attached themselves so firmly to our general elections to the extent that it is almost inconceivable to imagine a period anytime soon that they would die out of the political scene. Considering the fact that even more Christian ministers and so-called prophets seem to be using their platforms, authority and trust to advance diverse partisan political propaganda, it is useful to understand that most of these prophecies cou...
